Please send prayers and thoughts for one of my student's families. Her house was the target of gunfire last night, and her mother was hit in the leg. I'm beyond upset about it, not least because this is a good, faithful Muslim family and the news stations have yet to even refer to the possibility that it was a hate crime. I can't even.

Call for prayers for an unnamed student. He's really in need of some good thoughts today.

As a few of you may know, my grandmother's health has been rapidly deteriorating over these last 5 months. She was put into assisted living last year and she's been in and out of the hospital ever since. I spent half of my day off yesterday in the hospital with her, in fact. Please pray for my uncle. He collapsed in church this morning, we don't know what from. Just talked to my aunt, she's following the ambulance to the hospital and my mom's not far behind.

Mum called my phone earlier tonight. I answered, and it turns out she'd dialed the wrong number, meaning to get in touch with my dad. I have a cousin who plays college basketball up North. Today at practice, some freak athletic accident left her with a torn ACL and has knocked her out of the rest of the season altogether.
